Evander Smith-Liken to a Newly Forged Sword Part the Eighth
“Okay guys, according to my teachers this can take anywhere from one day to a week,” said Tyler after everyone had gathered. There gear was still being prepared so Evander went back to his tent and packed it up since they did not include any for the trip. When Evander returned he found out he was the only one bringing a tent.
I guess being strong is useful, he thought to himself. After all the gear was assembled and everyone was as prepared as there where going to be, it was time to head out.
“Okay Evander, where do you think we should go?” said Lilith.
“Hey, I’m the leader here. If you can’t be a part of the team I guess you will just fail the test,” said Tyler exercising his new authority.
“Okay, so where are we going?” asked Lilith.
“I don’t know yet,” said Tyler.
“How about that way?” said Aeryn pointing west.
“Guys…” said Evander trying to stop Lilith and Tyler arguing.
“You don’t know where to go do you,” said Lilith.
“Okay, lets just go!” said Tyler frustrated with Lilith.
“Roger,” said Travis.
“Okay,” said Aeryn as she and Travis began heading west. Evander hurried after them.
“Guys, if I may make a suggestion. Since Travis is a tracker, why don’t we looking around the camp's perimeter for footprints heading into the forest. We don’t know when they hid the rune, so we may get lucky and follow their tracks to the rune,” suggested Evander. Every good leader has advisors right? thought Evander.
